Announcement: New committee, New managers and a New vision

Our Aim & Vision

We are a private member football club. Our aim as charitable organisation is to continue to provide a community facility for the benefit of the local community, not only for football but hiring out the clubhouse for other social activities and local groups. We are a warm and friendly group of volunteers that welcome everyone to the club.

The vision for football at the club, is to build upon our history with local community values, moving football development forward and being a club where football is played to the highest standard. The chairman has set a goal of trying to achieve promotion to the South West Peninsula League within five years.

Message from the Chairman

Why Join Tedburn St Mary Football Club?

I joined Tedburn St Mary FC 15 years ago, following finding myself helping as a dad on the sideline due to the manager not turning up for one of the youth teams on a very wet Saturday in 2009; we lost 17 – 0! I have not looked back since, yes I played football to quite a high standard in my teenage years and early twenties but I had never thought of volunteering to help others enjoy the beautiful game. So Tedburn is the first club that I have put my experience as a player, into leaning the basics of management and then running youth and adult teams at the club until 2023 when I became chairman.

Volunteering and helping your local community can benefit you as a individual when you help others enjoy their weekends, playing football. The time you give, is paid back three fold, with friendship, a sense of belonging, achievement and reward.

We always welcome new volunteers to the club. If you have skills that you can use for the benefit of your local community why not come and have a chat to any of our committee members and volunteer!

Our Facilities

Our clubhouse consists of a kitchen with meeting area, four changing rooms, two referee changing rooms, a laundry room and toilets.

This is available to hire, for meetings, socials and events.

We have two full sized adults pitches.

We have the facility to accommodate 3 mini youth pitches and/or larger pitches for U11 and above.

We have our own grounds equipment to maintain our pitches and try and provide a quality playing surface.
